We had the best morning at the firehouse last week. We met our MOPS group there and we had a great turnout. The firemen could not have been any nicer. Ava and Harrison made them thank you cards and we even took them a plate of cookies. The kids were very excited to give their home made cards to them! We invited Beth and Justin to join us. Ava and Justin go WAY back... as in newborns. Those two have always had a special friendship that we are so thankful for. Notice the picture where Justin is looking at Ava. Too cute! Now that Harrison is getting older he too loves Justin and the three of them play well together.
Ok, sorry for the side note... so the firemen were super nice and they even got dressed up in their gear and let the kids touch everything and check things out. I loved that they did this! They told the kids that if they are ever stuck in a house fire that they are the good guys who will come to get them out. They even got a call when we were there so we got to see them hop on their truck and take off. Thank you firemen for all that you do to keep us safe!
