Lately we have been teaching Ava that God loves everyone. Period. She occasionally says that someone "is not very nice"... like the other day at Walmart when she said it to a complete stranger. The lady did not even do anything to provoke Ava. Luckily Mitch was there to deal with that one! I just keep telling her that God loves everyone and that we love everyone too. On Friday mornings I have a Bible study that I am participating in at my church. Ava and Harrison go to the nursery there and they love the teachers and all of the friends they have made. When I went to pick Ava up Friday morning I got a piece of artwork that she had made. It was a purple paper with paint and different shapes glued to it. At the top of the paper was a verse:
"I can tell the good news that Jesus loves everyone." (Acts 16:9-15)
Coincidence... I don't think so. God is affirming Mitch and I in what we are teaching her and He is reminding her continually that He does love everyone. That artwork is one for the memory book!
