We were so blessed the other day to have a playdate with some good friends. Ava was ecstatic over seeing her "adopted baby sister" and the three bigger kids always play so well together. The sweetest part? Beth and I had a chance to truly TALK without being interrupted. Mitch was home that morning and kept the kids busy playing with cars and walking on the trails. Thanks babe!
Mitchell (Mitch's dad) came in town to help us with the yard. He brought his chain saw so he and Mitch could play... I mean do yard work. They trimmed up our big trees, took out some small ones and removed some rose bushes and even trimmed our neighbors tree. Hooray! Now we have a clean slate. We are looking forward to working in the yard this spring to make it our own. While Grandad was here, we ate lots of yummy food (he brought BBQ and such from Memphis!) and the kids were able to share one of their true loves with him: Toy Story! Thank you Grandad!
