For the past couple of years we have been participating in Operation Christmas Child's Christmas Shoebox program. You choose a gender and age group, fill up a shoe box with toys and gifts, and drop them off at a designated spot. The shoeboxes are then mailed to children all over the world. They have a mighty impact. The children hear about the gospel of Jesus Christ and learn about why we celebrate Christmas. These "small" gifts can be life changing to a child. I love hearing stories about how they impact children and families. This year we will actually get to track the two boxes we sent and find out where they went. I loaded up on some great gifts are Target and Ava and Harrison each made their own box to send.
