Going to the beach with my family has been an annual tradition for the last... at least 20 years. This year we went with my dad, mom, Jackson, Allyn, Lucy (and her friend Eric). We had a great time. We enjoyed the beach, watched little mermaid Ava swim at the pool every day, took turns cooking yummy meals and cocktails for the family, played cards, watched movies, ate more, went shopping, more beach... you get the idea. The night that Lucy and Eric cooked for us the power went out for a few hours right in the midst of their dinner prep. Being the resourceful and excellent cooks that they are they ended up "cooking" the raw fish in key lime juice. It was surely an adventure as we held flashlights up so Eric could see the fish he was hacking up! The meal turned out great. We have tons of great memories from another fun year at the beach.
