On the 4th we had originally planned on going to a parade with the Johnson's in their neighborhood... our plans quickly changed when Karyn had her baby that day! Our plans got even better because we got to go to the hospital to meet baby Tegan. (and yes, she said she wanted company that day! Who am I to turn down a baby invite?) We were so excited! We took a plate of patriotic cookies and some custom "T" cookies to help celebrate. It was great to be able to show Ava and Harrison the hospital where they were born. We told them all about it. The kids were so excited to meet Tegan. They were both giddy! It was precious. We are so proud of Karyn and Andy. Congratulations!

We are so glad that you came to visit us there and meet Tegan! Those cookies were so yummy! Were they shortbread? I'd LOVE the recipe! Is it on your recipe blog?
