As you can see we had a wonderful 4th! We really wanted to make it a family day. We went to a family cookout for lunch at the Burks. 6 families had a ball as we watched the kids swim, bounce, cycle, drive powerwheels and eat. The weather was perfect and our friends are always wonderful hosts! After lunch we put the kids down for a nap and Mitch and I started preparing for our own cookout that night. Polly joined us for Peach Daquaris and Mitch's oh so yummy Inside Out Burgers. (the recipe is on my cooking blog. They are great!) We just relaxed after dinner and set up the bounce house in our backyard for the kids. We drove down the road to see our town's first ever firework display at 9 and it was so good. The kids were a little tired and cranky but Mitch and I enjoyed it. :)
