So I guess you can say we are brave parents... taking 2 young children to their first movie in a theatre. But hey, we had backup. Grandad joined us for a visit this week and he treated us all to a movie: Veggie Tales, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. We were fully armed with bottles, cheerios, and plenty of Rolos. It was a Thursday afternoon so the theatre was practically empty. You should have seen the look on Ava's face when she saw how big the movie screen was. We kept hearing "Wow", "Cool", "This is the best movie ever!". Harrison was also mesmorized. Guess what? We actually made it through the whole thing! With a little chocolate and some fancy juggling we were all able to watch the movie without disrupting everyone else. We can't wait for Grandad to come back and treat us to another movie! :)
