Mitch was invited to come to Harrison's preschool as a special guest during transportation week. Because of Mitch's love for flying and his "dream come true" new job at FedEx he did an incredible job! He had maps, delivery truck photos, a die cast FedEx airport transportation set and even some FedEx packages. He really went through the whole process and came up with scenarios like "What if you just remembered that tomorrow is your grandmother's birthday? You really want to send her some homemade cookies but she lives all the way in NYC. What would you do?" He then proceeded to tell the kids the many facets of FedEx and how the cookies would get to Grandma in time for her birthday. The kids were really into it. At the end he passed out bags to each child that included a few trinkets he picked up online like FedEx pencils, notepads and mints. The kids were so excited! Since then many of the moms have told me that their kids shout "Mom, I see a FedEx truck!" when driving around town. I think we just helped them gain some new customers. :)
