We decided that the kids are truly old enough to hike... so off we went on an adventure! We started with breakfast at our favorite local place and then made our way to the Natchez Trace. We went out onto the giant bridge and the view was breathtaking. We made our way down the trace and found a good trail to hike. It rained off and on during our hike but we were mostly covered by the trees. The rain had a beautiful sound and the weather was so mild. It was perfect! As we were leaving we met some hikers riding horses. One kind man let Ava take a seat on his beautiful horse. Very exciting! Another reason that we enjoy living in this area... friendly people!
