The kids and I packed up and headed to Memphis to give my grandmother a special gift on her 90th birthday... a surprise slumber party! She had a wonderful week of celebrating and knew that there were surprises for her on each the 7 days leading up to her birthday. Boy was she surprised! I know it was the best gift I could ever give her. We took her out to eat, put on pj's and curled up on the couch as she read books to the kids and then Ava read books to her. After the kids went to bed Grandmommy and I got to stay up and talk about our fond memories. It was priceless!
