They earned it!

A while back I decided that catering to different meal preferences was just too time consuming and frustrating. I slowly stopped making meals that were "easy" for the kids to eat. Out went the chicken nuggets, fish sticks, cheeseburgers, french fries, macaroni and cheese, and such. I started replacing those foods with soup, fish, hummus, vegetable lasagna, curry chicken, yogurt, fruits and veggies. Now dinner can still be a battle at times but I am so thankful they are at least trying all of these new meals. For the most part they like them and sometimes even ask for seconds. So tonight they earned an "easy" meal. I made cooked octopus (hot dog) with seaweed (ramen noodles). The kids enjoyed every bite!
