This is day 3 of being snowed in. I must say it has been a great way for us to just slow down and have fun. We have played in the snow, made chocolate snow, watched movies, played hide and go seek, worked on art projects, made pictures for Geylin, made cookies,washed laundry, had a slumber party, and more! Whew! We have loved how quiet and peaceful everything is. This morning we had "church" at home. We talked about the beautiful cardinal we saw in the snow and how God provides for that bird's every need... just like us! Ava's song choice was "My God Is So Big" and Harrison chose "Jesus Loves The Little Children". We are so thankful for our warm home and for the rest these past three days have brought us.

So cute! We have no snow but watched the second big limb come down in the yard a while ago. Lots of beautiful, thankful birds at the feeder. Now the sun is melting the ice off the tree and it sounds like people are shattering champagne glasses. It has been solid for the last hour. Spooky and beautiful. ( Papa is not so sure about that chocolate snow!)
