The other day I had a day off in Atlantic City so I decided to drive to Washington D.C. to join the protest of the Health Care bill currently being debated in the House of Representatives. The vote is scheduled for today, Saturday. I saw on the news that there were between 25 and 40 thousand people on the front lawn of the U.S. Capital building. It was really neat to see first hand that many people come to Washington to voice their opinion. Hopefully our lawmakers will vote accordingly.
I also got a chance to meet up with Rainer's best friend and Ava's God Mother, Sarah Beth. They have been friends since they could walk! She works and lives in D.C. as counsel for Oklahoma Senator Tom Cobern.
