We invited some friends to enjoy lunch with us at a well known Southern Cooking establishment. You know, the ones with the great rocking chairs out front. What made this lunch even sweeter was that our $65 bill was covered by the establishment. It started back a few months ago when my sister and I took the kids out for a pancake breakfast. Our service was horrible so like any sweet little Southern woman I politely pointed out our dissatisfaction with the manager... to no avail! I was a little hot over it. So then I went to their corporate website and described our visit and the lack of apathy we received from the manager. The result? A golden ticket! Yes, a shiny golden ticket that was an apology and that would cover an entire meal for 4 people. So what did I do? We invited our friends and I told them to live it up and order the most expensive thing on the menu with drinks and dessert to boot! We had a wonderful meal, a LOT of leftover food doggie bags. It was a great time! I guess I have now made peace with this establishment. Thanks for joining us J, J and EG!
